Decker Brown is a seemingly normal boy, living in a seemingly normal neighborhood.  He and his friends form the Monster Club, a small group misfits and outcasts.  They are not the crème of society.  They do not belong to any social clicks.  They have little access to social media.

Instead, Decker Brown and his friends play roll-playing games.  They watch old-time movies.  They explore the suburbs of Livingston, much like their parents.  These are all very strange things to do in these modern, cynical times.

Little does Decker realize, real magic pervades the shadows and corners of the world, even in a seemingly normal suburb of Livingston.
